Non-traditional Wedding Colors
The majority of wedding colors tends toward the safe or common combinations of brown and pink, soft pink and white, or blue and chocolate brown. Bridal couples looking for wedding color palettes that are refreshing and un-common will be rewarded with a colorful set of duets that are both imaginative and oh-so-beautiful.
GOLD and BLACK - Think the guilded age of opulence, extravagance and elegance all rolled up into one. This color combo exudes formality and sophistication from the get-go and makes a wonderful statement for the ultimate black-tie affair.

PINK and GOLD - This wedding color palette screams Marie Antoinette (the modern movie version). The elegance of the event is defined by the gold tones. Mix in soft shades of pink to produce feelings of romance and love.

RED and LIGHT BLUE - A striking and unique color combination indeed! It's crisp and fresh and perfect for a summer wedding!

WHITE and WHITE - If you are of the school where only the bride wears white, then you can skip to the next color combination. Everything from the bridal party attire down to the floral arrangements in the table centerpieces is blanketed in white to create an ethereal and magical feeling.

MUSTARD YELLOW and BROWN - This unique pairing harkens days of crisp fall weather when the air is cooler and the leaves change to their fiery hues of yellow, red and orange. Makes a wonderful combo for an autumn inspired wedding!

TURQUOISE and PINK - A unique color palette for a summer wedding or destination wedding by the beach. The turquoise reflects the color of the water while the pink represents the tropical summer atmosphere.

LIME GREEN and BLACK - Truly an un-common pair of colors for a wedding. But when you put these colors together, they are just as striking and memorable as the bridal couple themselves.

PALE BLUE and GOLD - Pale blue tones introduce a softness and sweetness found on the wedding day. Throw in the color gold to create an air of formality.

CHOCOLATE BROWN and LILAC - Anything paired with the color chocolate brown exudes modernity. Instead of the usual blue or pink, lilac is just the right shade of purple that both the bride and groom can agree on. It's a wonderful color combo for any season!

ORANGEand LIGHT BLUE / TURQUOISE - This unusual pairing of colors is making its round on wedding blogs all over the web. You will often find this modern color palette on couture wedding invitations that eventually inspire all those who set their eyes on them.
